Dear PAM members, We have not collected GST for our membership subscription fee since GST was implemented in 2015. However, in September this year we were informed by the Royal Malaysian Customs Department that we have to pay all the GST and fine for our members' subscription fee.

Estimated fee and fine that we need to pay for 2015-2017 are approximately RM240,000.00. After a meeting with Ministry of Finance and the Customs Department in September, we have made an appeal to them to waive the GST for our membership subscription. On 18 December 2017, we have received a letter from MOF that they have agreed to waive the GST for subscription fees paid from 1 April 2015 to 31 December 2017. Any payment of fee made after 31 December 2017 will be subjected to 6% GST. Therefore, we urge all our members to pay their subscription fees before 31 December 2017.
